Souvenirs

Ryan was born on April 8, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Joel Ridill and Lynn Roach. His family moved to Laguna Niguel, California, when he was six years old for several years before moving to San Juan Capistrano, California. He has a sister, Deena Klem and a brother, Aaron Ridill. He graduated from Capo Valley High School in Mission Viejo, California. Ryan is survived by his three children, Shane Eastwood, Alexa Freeman, and Summer Ridill. Ryan has seven grandchildren, Wyatt Eastwood, Scarlett Eastwood, Ivy Freeman, Dempsey Freeman, Sunny Freeman, Florence Kelley, and Winter Eastwood. Ryan was always so proud of his children and grandchildren, and they were his greatest pleasure in life. Ryan adored his dog, whom was his loyal companion, Brando, who stood by his side for 19 years. In addition to his two cats he rescued, Cecil and Luna. Ryan was known to take pleasure in the simple things in life and enjoyed being in the Ortega mountains, riding motorcycles, shooting guns, spending quality time with his family, taking Brando to the dog park and skateboarding. He had a free spirit and elicited joy from everything. Ryan owned and operated EPW a concrete cleaning business for over 18 years, and in 2018 opened Presley & Co Fine Jewelers in North Park, San Diego with his fiancé Liz Saba. He worked hard in his self-employment and touched many lives and made many life-long friendships over the years. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Ryan knew that he considered everyone a friend to him. Ryan was very proud follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and will be remembered as a faithful follower. He always expressed the promises from our Lord, being an eternal family in an everlasting life together. Ryan will certainly be missed as he affected many lives with his acts of love and kindness over the years. He was beloved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 27976 Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo on Saturday March 26th 2022 at 11am. The burial will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.

I first met Ryan when my daughter and I went to visit Liz and Presley. He was an instant friend. How could he not be? He was the most genuine and generous guy. Always worrying if we were enjoying our visit. Just watching him with Brando was enough entertainment for us. Sydney did love hearing their high school stories and about how they got together. They were meant to be. Whenever I spoke to Liz he was right there saying hi trying to talk to me too. The videos she would send always made me laugh - the original car pool karaoker. Rest In Peace friend. Angela Angela

So sorry for you Liz and Presley and the pain you are going through. Ryan loved you both so much! He was a good step-father to Presley, joining your family during so many of her important years growing up. There's nothing he wouldn't have done for you both- I saw it with my own eyes the way he looked at you. Lean on all of your good memories when you are feeling sad. I'm sorry he left you so soon. Hugs to you both! XOXO Lindia Gordon

Ryan and Liz were a love story for the ages! I loved watching them together because the mutual respect was so obvious. They had a mutual love of music so it was always playing. My heart goes out to Liz , Presley, and Ryan's kids. He was a force. Suzanne Napoleon

Eric and I have so many great memories with Ryan, Liz, Presley and Brando Thanksgivings, Easters, 4th of Julys or just random weekends. Hanging out at the pool, playing darts or just chilling on the deck while the smoker cooked our food and singing punk rock songs at the top of lungs. You were always the best and the loudest singer and we would laugh so hard we had tears running down our faces. Eric and I miss you so much already and now the tears are streaming down our faces because you're gone. We will cherish all of those wonderful moments we had and cherish your memory forever. We love you so much. Rest In Peace dear friend. Eric and Joni Joni Johnson-Lopez

Ryan- you are missed. Liz and Presley loved you so very much, I am so glad that you were in their lives. I am glad we were able to get reacquainted and I loved watching you and Liz make the connection that we all knew was inevitable back in high school. You were a wonderful companion to Liz, and a loving stepfather to Presley- and a good friend to so many. My condolences to your family and friends, you are leaving a gap in so many lives.
