Carole Lorraine Andrews, 68, of Riverside CA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022. Carole was born on February 9th, 1954 to parents Mildred (Steiner) Andrews, and Bernard Andrews in Hennepin, Minnesota. She grew up in Orange County CA and later moved to the cities of Corona and Riverside where she raised her family. Carole is survived by her sister Janet (Andrews) Ferrara; brother Eric Andrews; daughter, Judy (Meinhardt) Wade; son, Scott Meinhardt; and 2 loving grandchildren. Before retirement Carole worked as a mechanical designer and programmer. Carole loved gardening, sewing, and creating works of art with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. Carole was my neighbor in the La Sierra Hills , two moves ago. She was a good neighbor and I climbed up her steep driveway many times to see her garden and drink a little wine. One time she had to walk me down the driveway to my house below after a little too much wine. She never said a word about it. We shared our love of gardening and visited each other's gardens to see what was growing. We exchanged plants and fruit from my orchard. I have an eggplant growing In my vegetable garden now that she gave me a year ago. I think of her when it rains as we would text if it was raining at her house across town or at mine and how much.
