Robert Joseph Reiley

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Robert (Bob) J. Reiley from Escondido, CA. Bob was born January 19, 1943 to Harold and Kathleen Reiley. Bob passed away at Palomar hospital December 13, 2022. He proudly served in the Army July 1961 until July 1964. Bob had many interests and was very active through most of his life . From enjoying playing basketball when he was younger to volunteering to coach later at St. Joseph School in Pinole, CA. He was one of the oldest graduates from the police training at Palomar Community College in 1996. Bob worked many jobs ranging from real estate, to sales in silver refinery to finally working for North County Transit where he retired from. Bob loved playing golf, watching football, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He had volunteered at the American Legion before he fell ill. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Kathleen Reiley (Drury) daughter Beth Reiley, son Tim (Ana) Reiley, brother Daniel (Mary) Reiley, grandchildren Ciera (Zac) Ingram, Charles Hayes IV, Caylen Hayes, Nadezhda (Christian) Ceniceros, Jorge Beltran, Lluvia Reiley, Robert Reiley and 7 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as his brother Patrick Reiley. A memorial service will be held at the American Legion - J. B. Clark Post 149 on Saturday January 14, 2023 at 2:00pm. A burial service will be held at Miramar National Cemetery on January 17, 2023 at 1:30pm.
