Katrina Lynn Getz

It is with great sadness that the family of Katrina Getz announce that she passed away early Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 after a hard-fought battle against cancer. Katrina was born September 9th, 1958 at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA. She had a love of life that was full of creativity and kindness. Her gardens were always the largest and in full bloom. She encouraged all of her children and anyone that came into her life to pursue their creative passions. Throughout everything, Katrina remained positive and brought light into all of our lives. Katrina is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Maurice Loucks, her siblings, her 4 children; William Getz, Elizabeth Fuchs, Margaret Chen, and Richard Getz; and her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and always loved. A small celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 for close friends and family.
